Why Colorado?

Everybody has a story of how they moved to Colorado.  As a kid my family came here from Virginia on two different family road trip vacations.  After the second family trip we decided to move out here.  We moved to Boulder and we were so happy to get away from the killer humidity in Virginia.

What do I like most about Colorado?  I love the weather--it can be 95 F during the day and at night it drops down to 65 F so you can sleep with your windows open.  I like being able to see mountains and the horizon from anywhere, you don't feel closed in like you do sometimes on the east coast with all of those trees.  I like the the dramatic weather changes we get here, you can go to work in the morning and it's warm and sunny and by the time you get home you can have 3 inches of snow already on the ground.

If you have a story you like to share, email me at marioj@remax.net and I will post it.

Denver is one of the smaller cities in the U.S. which has sports teams for the four major sports:  Denver Broncos, Colorado Avalanche, Colorado Rockies and Denver Nuggets.  The Broncos won back to back Super Bowls in the late 1990's.  The Avs won the Stanley Cup the first season they moved to Denver in the 95-96 season and won the Cup again in 2001.  The Rockies surprised Major League Baseball fans by making it to the World Series in 2007.  And the Nuggets have never won an NBA Championship, but they have been competitive the past few years.
